This is pretty interesting stuff. I disagreed with much of what was said here, but, though I have the sneaking susupician that if she got more specific, I would disagree even more, there is much- very much- to be admired and to be inspired by in this talk. I share her dream of a real liberal arts education being given in an environment that puts emphasis on free action as a noble end and not just some idealistic life of leisured contemplation that rarely exists and even rarer is the man that is fit for it.

So, I re-read this article and I should not post things I skim over in between customers. I think I missed Breitbart’s tongue firmly planted in his cheek and read a couple claims incorrectly, thinking the claim was he actually conspired with the government to do this Iraq documentary. Anyway, I’ll leave my post up with this italicized mea culpa for not reading carefully before posting and commenting. Damn data flood.
So, I haven’t read this over too closely yet, but thought I’d toss it out there for your perousal. The most interesting comment I’ve heard thus far, regarding this animals characteristics unlike other lemurs and typical of monkies, is “But, what if it’s a retard?” My young friend raises the question, in a somewhat non-PC manner, of whether finding one “link” can ever be proven as a “link” and not just a malformed instantation of one of the two species supposedly linked. I personally have no real problem with a natural selection and man’s corporality having evolved over millenia, but I do have a problem with bad arguments and overstated claims.
Looks like the nectar of the gods is pulling ahead in the battle over coffee’s status has health friend or foe.
